Every now and again when you soap you get a failed batch, even when you try to prevent it. Here is a photo of my last batch of Rose Soap, it looks horrendous.
This soap should be a beautiful dark pink color and not have those huge holes in it. For the life of me I can't figure out what I did wrong.
Rose soap lovers, you'll have to wait a few more weeks. I am sorry.

I've never seen holes that big. I occasionally get some small holes when I pour at too thick a trace and an air bubble pops during the gel phase. I'd just label it Rose Moon Crater soap! :)

Colleen, I had never seen that before either. It is so hard that it can not even be cut. I was quite upset with it.
